It felt maybe just a bit harder than I thought it would, but not in a bad way

I kind of regret not doing this earlier in the trip. Our guide knew every little backstreet and hidden corner, and somehow kept the whole thing fun the entire time. It felt super easygoing, like being shown around by a local friend.

Booking my trip was straightforward. The dates and prices were easy to understand, and my payment went through without any trouble. I usually stick with another airline because I’ve used them for years, so I was a little hesitant trying this one, but the process was smoother than I expected. The only thing that bugged me was having to click around a bit to find the baggage info. Not a huge deal, though, overall, it was a easy experience.

I had a really good time with Intrepid overall. The guide was nice, easy to talk to, and seemed to keep everything running smoothly. The trip felt organized, which I appreciated. My main complaint is the hotels, some of them were really basic. Like, I expected simple, but a few felt a little too basic, and after a while the basic hotels started to get old. Nothing totally ruined the trip, but yeah, the accommodation could definitely be better. Still, I enjoyed the experience and would probably recommend them.

I’ll admit, I kind of assumed the wildlife part might feel a bit touristy, but I was wrong quickly. The guides clearly cared about the animals and made everything feel respectful, not pushy or intrusive. It was a really good experience overall.

I really liked that the trip wasn’t packed from morning to night. There were enough plans to feel like I was getting a good experience, but also plenty of free time to wander around and enjoy things at my own pace.

Our trip got hit with a last-minute itinerary change because of the weather, which was the last thing I wanted to deal with. I was already imagining everything falling apart, missed plans, confusion, the whole annoying travel headache. But Intrepid actually got in touch quickly and explained what was changing without making it feel like some huge disaster.

The updated plan ended up being way smoother than I expected, and we really didn’t miss out on much. Our leader stayed calm and helpful the whole time, which made a big difference because I was definitely not feeling calm at first. It wasn’t an ideal situation, obviously, but they handled it well enough that I’d still book with them again.

We booked a family trip with Intrepid i came away with mixed feelings, but mostly positive ones. Our guide was great with the kids and really patient, which made a big difference. The pace was manageable too, so we didn’t feel like we were constantly being rushed from place to place. That said, a few of the hotels were basic and not quite what I’d hoped for, though nothing was actually bad or uncomfortable. Overall, it was a good experience and I’d probably book with them again, just with slightly adjusted expectations

I had to cancel my order, and the whole process was simple. No unnecessary back-and-forth or hassle, my refund came through just fine.

I have to give credit where it’s due, the buses were really clean, and the seats were comfortable enough that even the longer transfers didn’t feel too bad. Long rides are never exactly fun, but this was decent

I booked a few of the optional activities on my Intrepid trip, they ended up being some of my favorite parts. I really liked that nothing felt pushed on us at all. The guides were upfront about what was worth doing and what you could probably skip, which made it easy to decide. The cooking class and the local bike ride were both great. Nothing too fancy, just simple, fun, and really well organized. The prices felt fair too, which I appreciated. I’d definitely travel with Intrepid again… already kind of thinking about where to go next

The small group made everything super easy and actually fun. Shocking, I know—turns out not being packed in like sardines really improves the experience.

It wasn’t the cheapest trip out there, because apparently vacations still cost money, but it felt worth it. The hotels, transport, and guide were all handled really well, and I never got that lovely feeling of being completely ripped off. Overall, a solid trip for the price

I had a really good trip with Intrepid. The group ended up being a nice mix of people, and everyone clicked quickly, which made the whole experience a lot more fun. Our leader kept things organized without making it feel like we were being herded around all day. I also liked that there was a good balance between group time and having space to go off and do your own thing. I’m usually a bit wary of dealing with customer service if anything goes wrong, but thankfully the trip itself ran smoothly and I didn’t really have to worry about that. I’d definitely book with them again

I really enjoyed how much variety there was on this trip. I’m the kind of person who gets bored easily, so I was a little worried it might feel repetitive, but it never did. One day we were hiking, then checking out markets, trying different food, going on boats, and wandering through little villages. It kept things interesting the whole time. I was tired some days, but that’s probably more because I didn’t sleep enough, not because of the trip itself. Overall, I was really happy with it

Overall, I’m excited for the trip and Intrepid feels organised so far. The pre-trip emails have been clear enough, and when I asked about the airport transfer, they got back to me quickly. I’m giving 4 stars only because a few details came through a bit late and I had to double-check things once or twice. But my experience has been good up to now, and I’m looking forward to going.

I loved my Intrepid trip. The group was small, the guides were local, and we ended up eating at family-run spots instead of the usual big chains, which made the whole experience feel a lot more real. It wasn’t totally perfect, but I could tell they’re genuinely trying to do travel the right way. Small personal win for me: I actually came home feeling like my money supported the places I visited, not just some huge company

Everything in the trip notes pretty much lined up with the actual trip, which was really helpful. The packing list, timing, and local info were all accurate and made planning a lot easier. I still had mixed feelings here and there, mostly because I like a little more flexibility when traveling, but overall it definitely took a lot of stress out of the process.

I actually checked Intrepid’s luggage and packing info before my trip, and it ended up being really useful. It was clear and not too much to read, which I appreciated. I packed lighter than I normally would and didn’t drag along a bunch of stuff I never use. It made getting around so much easier. Really glad I looked at it beforehand.
